Power Rankings
Some changes for the 2007-08 season.
Win percentage is points divided by possible points. Schedule difficulty is the average winning percentage of opponents (weighted for number of games played). Offence is average goals scored per game. Defence is average goals allowed per game. Power Rank Adjusted is a value calculated based on all the other factors, with 10 most recent games weighted the most heavily.
I’ll be posting my first Power Rankings shortly. The numbers are still somewhat useless until each team has at least one point at home and on the road.
