Anaheim Can’t Fill Arena

Even when they win, even when they have as good a chance as any other team in the league of hoisting Stanley’s mug in a few weeks.  Sad.

Why do we keep hearing about Kansas City and Las Vegas, again?

anaheim just shouldn’t have a team. maybe they should move to hartford.

    Nashville, Anaheim…

Bettman is so desperate to expand the game by “selling it” to the US markets he refuses to acknowledge or deal with cities like those two who can’t fill seats even when they’re on top of the league.

Remember, this is a commissioner who includes tickets given away when he quotes new attendance records. When I hear him speak I get the impression he would fly to cities like Anaheim and purchase thousands of tickets out of his own pocket just so he can say attendance is up.

St Louis can’t fill it either. And don’t say it’s because they suck, Pittsburgh has sucked for years. And Philly sucks this year. Include New Jersey in that statement as well. Don’t blame the arena deal either.

Out of all the arenas that sold out less than 50% of games last year, Anaheim had the largest increase in average attendance and sell-outs. Season seats also increase by the largest amount too.
